Ozan Aksoy is a Senior Fellow at the Department of Quantitative Social Science at University College London (UCL) and an associate member of Nuffield College and the Nuffield Centre for Experimental Social Sciences. Ozan’s two research focuses are cooperative behaviour in social dilemmas and the sociology of religion.
At UCL Ozan teaches Q-Step courses on methods and statistics. Before joining UCL, Ozan was a postdoctoral research fellow at the Nuffield College Centre for Experimental Social Sciences and at the Department of Sociology, University of Oxford. Ozan holds a PhD in sociology from the ICS Research School of Utrecht University.
His work has been published or accepted for publication in sociology (American Journal of Sociology, Sociological Science, European Sociological Review, Social Science Research, Journal of Mathematical Sociology), social psychology (Journal of Experimental Social Psychology, Social Psychology Quarterly), political science (Electoral Studies), and game theory (Games) journals.
