The Centre for Experimental Social Sciences (CESS) - Nuffield - FLAME University is a research laboratory affiliated with Nuffield College at the University of Oxford and FLAME University in Pune, India. It aims to facilitate research in the social sciences by using rigorous, cross-disciplinary experimental techniques in the context of a major emerging nation.

In September 2016, The Centre for Experimental Social Sciences (CESS) - India is founded as a collaboration between FLAME University and Nuffield College, University of Oxford. Made possible by the generous support of FLAME University, the Centre joined the CESS network, with counterparts at Nuffield College and at the Universidad de Santiago de Chile. It aims to be a leading research institution with the capacity to foster collaborative research across India, Asia, and the world at large.
